Websites are not only the number one means for communication around the world today, but it is also the most cost effective means to generate revenue by advertising products and services for every large and small businesses.
Advertising in newspapers, magazines, on the radio and/or TV is old school, costly, and limited to a selected audience in the local area. Reaching out to your existing customer base is important of course, but it is more important to reach out to new and perspective customers to increase your customer base as well.
Let’s take a realistic look at a website verses printed media before we start picking on radio and TV advertising.
Printed media such as newspapers have massive limitations when it comes to reaching out to customers and perspective customers, advertising text, and the cost of adding an image to your ad is costly. Then there is the price tag of running the ad for an extended period of time, and to a limited number of people in the area. On the other hand, with a website, you have an unlimited reach to your customers and perspective customers, unlimited advertising text, unlimited images, plus your ad runs 24/7 all year round for only a few hundred dollars a year. Your website we also reach millions of people and not just the locals in your area.
I'm not going to get into bashing radio and TV right now. I will bash them later, and trust me; there is a lot of bashing I can do on both of them. However, I am going to talk about the facts related to website advertising and the endless opportunities a website has to offer you and your business and why.
